Here’s your chance to go up in a hot air balloon on the day of the eclipse! This is where to buy pre sale tickets for Monday, April 8th evening TETHERED rides that go from 6:00pm-7:30pm. (3-5 minutes per ride). Should be some amazing sunset and dusk views here on our farm. Maximum occupancy per ride is 4 adults. Some times more capacity is possibly when a combination of adults and kids. This is depending on the size of the riders and at the discretion of the pilot. Minimum height for kids must be 42” tall. (This is generally age 6 and up).

$25 for adults, $15 for kids. Limited tickets will be sold. This time window is the optimum time for weather to launch. This is usually the least windy time of day. You cannot reserve a specific time to go up. We are pre selling tickets for this short window of time and we recommend getting on site before 6:00pm. We can create the wait list based on who shows up first. The address for the farm is 155 Harry Bryant Rd, Williamstown, NY, but look for the Lewis Drive Private Driveway.
There may be availability for adding riders or accepting walk up sales during the evening ride, but availability is not guaranteed. If we sell out, we may be able to add another balloon to accept more trips.

Because the weather plays such an important decision if flying is possible, we will have walk up sales for TETHERED rides earlier during the day starting at 1:00pm. Buying tickets here on the website is for the evening time slot only, not the walk up sales earlier in the day. Pilots will begin setting up around noon on Monday for that. If weather allows, rides could start as soon as 1:00pm. The current forecast for wind on Monday looks very favorable to balloons! If it stays that way there could be great opportunities to ride. There will still be balloons setup for picture opportunities too for a small fee.
Airborne Adventures Ballooning, Inc. and Kelly Gatfield will be the outfits that will have balloons here on Monday.
